Settling in

Hi neighbor. Here is your prep guide for a soft landing in your fresh new home. Almost there! See you soon.

1. Contract & Deposit

  1. Sign your contract.
  2. Pay the deposit according to the instructions in your contract.
  3. Once both steps are completed, we will add the final signature.
  4. You receive the fully signed contract.

Please check whether you have completed steps 1 and 2.

2. Final Inspection

A final inspection of your apartment takes place before you move in. We will walk through the apartment together, check the delivery status, and note down or solve any issues.

Schedule your inspection in one of these calendars:

Available dates: June 3–5 and June 8–12 (during working hours).

Important: You can only move in after the inspection is complete. You must schedule the appointment yourself, so make sure to plan the inspection date before your move-in time slot.

3. Planning & Move-In Day

The expected move-in date is June 15. This means your move-in day will take place between June 15 and June 19.

Each apartment has a specific time slot to avoid congestion.

Make sure to plan the move-in time slot after the inspection date.

Important: You may only move in after the inspection is complete and only during your assigned time slot. You must schedule both appointments yourself.

Fun Facts

  • Professional movers will be available during your time slot to assist with heavy lifting.
  • Every moving day (June 15–19), informal drinks will be hosted at 5:00 PM so you can meet your new neighbors.

4. Registration Delft

You can register at your new address through the Municipality of Delft.

  • Registration can be completed up to 4 weeks before your move.
  • Registration must be completed no later than 5 days after moving in.

5. Parking Permit

If you need parking, follow these steps:

Step 1

We will check whether your apartment is eligible.

Step 2

After receiving confirmation from us, apply for your parking permit through the Municipality of Delft.

Apply after June 15.

6. Utilities & Services

Heating & Hot Water

Internet is automatically available in the apartment.

  • Included in the service costs.
  • Your password will be shared through WoodsApp.

7. Access & WoodsApp

WoodsApp is the essential and convenient app of The Urban Woods.

After the final apartment inspection, you will receive an email invitation to download WoodsApp.

Your access becomes active on your move-in date.

With WoodsApp you can:

  • Open doors (digital keys)
  • Choose your add-ons
  • Answer the intercom
  • Use the laundry facilities
  • View your usage
  • And much more

8. Join the Inner Circle

The Inner Circle is a group of frontrunners helping shape life within The Urban Woods from the very beginning.
